Efficycle is an intercollegiate design competition for graduate and undergraduate engineering students where teams have to design and fabricate an energy efficient humen cum electrically powered three wheeled vehicle. The vehicle must be aerodynamically, highly engineered and ergonomically designed.The design should be commercially reliable as a product and should be attractive to consumers because of its performance, visuality, performance, reliability and ease of performance. The objective of this project was exclusively to design and fabricate an efficycle which is a new form of transportation that reduces the current strain on the natural resources and aim to develop a sustainable transportation keeping due considerations for SAE rules.This trike with hybrid system was designed in tadpole style. It serves customers an efficient and comfortable trike. The designing was done by considering driver and co-driver safety and compact.
