Glowing concrete is a new and innovative material that has the potential to revolutionize the construction industry. This experimental study uses strontium aluminate and fly ash to produce glowing concrete with high compressive strength. This type of concrete is well suited for use in pavement applications. Adding fly ash to the concrete mix can increase its compressive strength. Glowing is achieved by addition of photoluminescent materials to the concrete mix. Adding 5% strontium aluminate to a concrete mix will give significant increase in the luminescence. The quantity of fly ash added is 24% as partial replacement of cement and it's compressive strength is determined. The combination of strontium aluminate and fly ash can be used to produce glowing concrete with a wide range of potential applications.
