Description

The proposed “Automatic Irrigation System using AI” integrates several intelligent features to optimize plant care. Firstly, the system tailors water supply according to the specific growth phases of plants, ensuring efficient and customized irrigation. This not only conserves water but also enhances plant health. Additionally, the inclusion of a pest trap acts as a preventive measure, detecting and managing potential threats to the plants. By incorporating weather forecast data, the system becomes adaptive, allowing it to skip irrigation when precipitation is expected, further optimizing water usage based on environmental conditions. Furthermore, the project integrates a light sensor to gauge sunlight exposure, aiding in determining optimal plant placement. The addition of a fertilizer dispenser automates the fertilization process, providing essential nutrients to the plants at appropriate intervals. To enhance user accessibility and monitoring, an accompanying mobile app has been developed. This app not only allows users to track the status of the irrigation system but also provides real-time information on the market prices of the crops being cultivated. This holistic approach combines technology, environmental data, and user interface to create an intelligent and efficient agricultural solution.
