In modern educational system white board is a key element of non verbal and graphical
communication. The white board is introduced to eliminate the limitations of black board. Mainly the
air pollution caused by black board useage. The white boards can even double up as projector screen
due to their non-reflective surface meaning it can also annote projection during lessons. The main
issue that we face while white board cleaning are loss of energy and time for manual cleaning of he
white board, It’s expectionally difficult to invest our energy dependable in cleaning white boards. Our
objective is to reduce the man power involved in cleaning the white boards, save the precious time of
humans by making the white board cleaning easier. Though the use of smart boards is increasing,
many institutions in the developed and developing world still make use of white boards.
When the power is supplied to DC motor, the equipment slides the cleaner horizontally throughout the
whiteboard. It is mechanically interconnected to drive assembly for producing the moveemnt of the
duter in an erasing operation. A white board cleaner which cleans in less than half the time required to
clean maually is fabricated. The Autodesk software is used for the designing and thereafter the design
analyses and fabrication had been conducted. For increasing easiness of operation we provided a
remotely controlled system. The result of total time taken to white board cleaning between Manual
duster cleaning and Automatic Smart Whiteboard cleaner had been compared and analyzed at end of
our work.
