Heating ventilation and air conditioning are becoming much more popular due to its easiness and acceptability. The main of this study is the heat load calculation and duct designing as a pre step for practical designing. Designing is mainly connected with duct designing. In every building layout the design of HVAC is mainly effected by factors like building layout, door positioning, ventilation and infiltration effects.This project  comprises the designing of HVAC for CALICUT DISTRICT HOSPITAL. This building is a 3 floor building with canteen on the ground floor. Each floor should be individually analyzed and final load calculations are to be done. Here the main software using are HAP and AUTOCAD and also EXCEL sheet. Duct size and cooling conditions are designing based on the result obtained from this project. Hence this project has a wide range of practical applications.
